Founded in 2007, Premium Choice Broadband is a leader in broadband development in the state of Maine. We are member of the Varney family of companies, headquartered in Brewer,  with local offices in Dover-Foxcroft and Greenville. We are local Maine people working to provide high-speed internet to the state's rural areas.

Starting with only five broadcasting locations around the Bangor area, Premium Choice has expanded to over 67 broadcast locations spanning from Rockwood to Deer Isle, covering roughly 7,000 square miles. We have specialized in getting internet to remote areas, where others do not.

Premium Choice has expanded its services and now offers state of the art fiber-optic internet, in Hancock, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties. The company has invested $2 million in private funds to bring the residents of Maine true high-speed internet with speeds up to 100Mbps (megabits per second) - both upstream and downstream. A first for the residents of these communities. We believe that high-speed internet should not just be available, it should also be affordable.
